Everybody knows the importance of a well-balanced diet and it is no different for toddlers. According to the Prime Health Channel, healthy eating for toddlers plays a role in growth and building a strong immune system. Below is a healthy and fun snack for the summer days ahead.

A fun way to incorporate fruits and veggies into your child’s diet is with homemade popsicles. All it takes is a blender, popsicle sticks, an ice cube tray, and a freezer. If you interested in having a flawless popsicle look, you can find popsicle trays at your local grocery store or on Amazon.

The possibilities are truly endless! Ingredients can include:

·      Your child’s favorite fruits (either blended up or left whole)

·      Fruit Juice

·      Yogurt

·      Sneakily added Veggies (ie: spinach)

·      Milk

·      Honey or Agave

Once you have chosen your favorite ingredients, pour your blended mixture into the ice cube tray and freeze overnight. Your healthy snack will be ready to enjoy after some play time outside.
