Five Splash Pad Destinations that Will Help You Beat the Heat!

As the temperatures remain hot this August, cool down at a local splash pad! Splash pads are great for kids 15 months-12 years old. Your kiddos can decide if they want to get soaking wet or just sprinkled on. Also, it is great place to let out your little's giggles and energy just like at our Soccer Buddies class!

The five splash pads listed below are a part of Grand Rapids' City Parks. All of them are FREE and open from 10 AM-9 PM through September 11. Many of the parks have a playground, basketball courts, and picnic tables as well - aka a fantastic to keep everyone in your family happy! Check out the five destinations below:

  1. Mary Waters Park: 1042 Lafayette Ave. NE

  2. Roosevelt Park: 739 Van Raalte Drive SW

  3. Wilcox Park: 100 Youell Ave. SE

  4. Joe Taylor Park: 1038 Bemis St. SE

  5. Heartside Park: 301 Ionia Ave. SW
